The website known for it’s in depth celebrity interviews, movie trailers, trend follows, and the show, “What’s Hot with Christy Lee” will be interviewing me in the near future about my novel, and the journey I took to get here.  More news to follow as I get information.  The website is http://www.realhd.tv/.

06/22/11 — ‘ITARA: SON OF C’RESETH” TO BE AVAILABLE ON KINDLE! — Great Jupiter’s Beard, Batman!

You heard right, folks!  A message from our friendly book publisher in answer to one of my tweet.:  “@mkpresson Son of C’reseth will be available for download on the Amazon Kindle by early next week! ”  So what does that mean for you?  It means you can stuff the book into your pack without crumpling the pages!  One week, folks….. Mark your calendars and tell your friends.  Epic Fantasy rocks.

05/07/11– BOOK FESTIVAL SUCCESS!

The Burbank Festival of Books today was a success!  Although I only sold two books, I did give out plenty of business cards and network with other local authors.  The experience was incredible enough to have, and the venue of the Buena Vista branch of the Burbank library was beautiful.  Although I am a new author, I was treated with respect, given a place of my own, and was greeted by the event staff with a smile.  They did a fantastic job setting up the Festival of Books.  I hope they do it again next year.  Now on to planning the next event!

03/31/11 — GUEST STARRING…

Holy crap!  A space has been reserved for me and my book at the Burbank Buena Vista library branch for the Centennial celebration of the city of Burbank.  They’re having a local authors event.  100+ authors will be there –including ME!– to make themselves known to the public.  It’s on May 7th!, Saturday, from 1pm to 5pm.  You can bet I’m as happy as a clam in a cloud.  Come find me and bring friends!

03/26/11 — FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING

The first book signing for Itara: Son of C’reseth went wonderfully!  Only a handful of people showed up, but those who did enjoyed great conversation, purchased their personalized signed copy of the book, and tasted delicious homemade chocolate fudge.  (I did promise fudge.).  Dohki was an amazing hostess, and her flowers helped to create a calm, joyful atmosphere where free thought and conversation could easily flow.

03/16/11 — BOOK SIGNING PUSHED TO NEXT WEEKEND

It’s exactly as it sounds.  Due to complications, the book signing has been pushed to March 26th at 1pm.  The venue is still the same –Jasmine Blue Florist.

02/17/11 — MY FIRST BOOK SIGNING!

It’s here!  It’s finally here!  I’ve officially scheduled my first book signing!  It will be at Jasmine Blue in Sherman Oaks on March 19th.  I’ll be there from 1pm to 5pm.  Dohki, the beautiful florist and owner of Jasmine Blue, is willing to open her doors to any fantasy fans that are eager to taste a new novel, and perhaps some gorgeous flowers as well.    Come one!  Come all!  And bring you friends.  I will be talking about my book, my journey to this point in the wild world of writing, and I’ll be selling a limited number of author copies and signing them.  And yes…there will be fudge.  🙂  Again, here is the information:

Jasmine Blue.  13607 Ventura Blvd.  Sherman Oaks, CA 91423.  Signing begins at 1pm and goes to 5pm.

02/15/11 — GADS OF BOOKS!

The books are in!  I came home tonight to find three boxes bearing my novel on my doorstep.  I’ve basked in their glow, taken pictures, and now I have to get rid of them.  Which means, I can now set up book signings. 🙂  I now have 72 copies that need loving homes.  Each of these author copies with be signed by me, and –due to a darkening of the print for some reason– will also have a separate insert map.  If you want one of these limited copies, please let me know by leaving a comment on the main page, or through my contact email on the “Contact” page.

01/25/11 — AND THEY’RE OFF!

To my knowledge, the first sale of my novel goes to……. Chris, in Canada!  Thank you, Chris.  ^_^  Wow!  You have honored me.  I’m floating on cloud nine.  All I wish for now is that you enjoy the story that has bubbled in my mind since 1996 –in some form or another.

01/21/11 — GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE!

Son of C’reseth has been approved for distribution!  Given 2 to 3 weeks, it will be available to order Here, or through your local booksellers. 

01/03/11– UPDATED RELEASE DATE

The formal release date for Itara: Son of C’reseth has been moved to January 13th. 

12/01/10 — TROLLS FOR KIDS

Apryl Skies wrote a wonderful collection of poems and fairy tales for kids in a book entitled “Skye the Troll & Other Fairy Tales for Children”.  You can find her work at www.polyphonypictures.com

12/01/10 —  RELEASE DATE!

Itara: Son of C’reseth is set to be released on January 6th.  It will be available through Ingram, so your local book store will be able to order it.  🙂
